UPPSC Assistant Town Planner Vacancy 2025
This is a special/backlog recruitment drive with a total of 08 vacancies. The reservation details are as follows:

2. Essential Educational Qualification

- A Degree or Post Graduate (PG) Diploma in Town & Country Planning from a recognized institution.OR
- Associate Membership of the Institute of Planners (India), American Institute of Town Planners, or Institute of Town Planners (London).OR
- An equivalent qualification as recognized by the government (the notification lists 32 equivalent courses, including M.Tech (Urban Planning), B.Tech (Planning), Master of Planning (Urban/Regional/Environmental), etc.).
3. Preferential Qualification
If two candidates score equal marks, preference will be given to a candidate who has:
- Served in the Territorial Army for at least two years, OR
- Obtained a ‘B’ certificate of the National Cadet Corps (NCC).
UPPSC Assistant Town Planner Recruitment 2025: Selection Process
The selection for the post will be conducted in three successive stages:
- Preliminary Exam: An objective (MCQ) test for screening candidates.
- Main (Written) Exam: A descriptive (written) test for candidates who clear the Prelims.
- Document Verification: Final verification of all documents.
