PNB LBO Eligibility Criteria 2025 (CRITICAL)

This is the most important section. This is not a fresher recruitment. Candidates must meet all four criteria: Age, Education, Experience, and Language. PNB LBO Recruitment 2025

1. Age Limit (as of 01.07.2025)

  • Minimum Age: 20 Years
  • Maximum Age: 30 Years
  • (This means the candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.07.1995 and not later than 01.07.2005).

Age Relaxation:

  • SC/ST: 5 Years
  • OBC (NCL): 3 Years
  • PwBD: 10 Years
  • Ex-Servicemen: 5 Years

2. Educational Qualification (as of 23.11.2025)

  • Requirement: A candidate must be a Graduate in any discipline from a University/Institution recognized by the Government of India.
  • The mark sheet or Degree Certificate must be dated on or before the closing date of application (Nov 23, 2025).

3. Mandatory Work Experience (as of 23.11.2025)

  • Requirement: Candidates must possess a minimum of one (1) year of post-qualification work experience.
  • Cadre: The experience must be in a Clerical or Officer Cadre.
  • Organization: The experience must be from a Scheduled Commercial Bank or a Regional Rural Bank (RRB) listed in the Second Schedule of the RBI Act, 1934.
  • Note: Experience in financial institutions (NBFCs), insurance, or other organizations is not eligible.

4. Mandatory Local Language Proficiency

  • Requirement: Candidates must be proficient (reading, writing, and speaking) in the specified local language of the state for which they are applying (as listed in the vacancy table).
  • Proof: Candidates who can produce a 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/certificate proving they studied the specified local language will be exempt from the language test.
  • Test: All other selected candidates will have to pass a Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT). This test is qualifying in nature. Failing this test will result in disqualification, even if you clear the exam and interview.

Salary, Service Bond, and CIBIL Score

Selected candidates will be placed in the Junior Management Grade Scale-I.

  • Pay Scale: ₹48480 – 2000/7 – 62480 – 2340/2 – 67160 – 2680/7 – 85920
  • Allowances: In addition to the Basic Pay, officers are eligible for Dearness Allowance (DA), City Compensatory Allowance (CCA), House Rent Allowance (HRA) or Leased Accommodation, Medical Insurance, Leave Fare Concession (LFC), and other benefits as per bank rules.
